Abdulhamid Dabaiba, head of the Government of National Unity, opened the 29th session of the General Assembly of the Arab Organization for Industrial Development, Standardization, and Mining on Thursday in the capital, Tripoli. In his opening remarks, which were broadcast on the “Our Government” Facebook page, Dabaiba stated that economic integration among Arab countries is no longer an option but has become a necessity.
He added: “It is our responsibility to move from exchanging visions to building partnerships and launching concrete initiatives that benefit our peoples,” continuing: “The Arab world possesses vast resources, large markets, and promising human potential, and we must transform this wealth into joint projects and real opportunities that enhance our competitiveness.”
Developing the Industrial Sector and Improving the Investment Climate
Dabaiba explained that “the government is working to develop the industrial sector, improve the investment climate, revitalize industrial zones, and harness mineral resources.”
He continued: “True development is not based on resources alone, but on good management and investment in people. The future of Arab industry will not be built through individual efforts, but through the integration of expertise, the harmonization of policies, and the expansion of joint investments,” adding, “Our strength lies in our unity, and our future lies in our joint efforts.”
