Saddam Haftar Offers Condolences to the Emir of Qatar on the Death of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani

The Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the General Command, Lieutenant General Saddam Haftar, offered his condolences to the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, on the passing of the Father Emir, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, during a visit to the Qatari capital, Doha.

Saddam Haftar said in a post on his Facebook page, that he conveyed to the Emir of Qatar the condolences and sympathy of the Commander-in-Chief of the General Command, Marshal Khalifa Haftar, expressing his condolences to the Qatari people on this loss, praying that God may envelop the deceased in His vast mercy, grant him a place in His spacious Paradise, and inspire his family, loved ones, and the Qatari people with patience and solace.

This comes a day after Presidential Council President Mohamed Menfi offered his condolences to the Emir of Qatar at Lusail Palace in the capital, Doha. Earlier on Monday, the head of the Government of National Unity, Abdulhamid Dabaiba, had also offered his condolences to Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani on the death of the late Emir.
