Weather Advisory: Heavy rain expected in the northwest tomorrow

The National Meteorological Center has warned of an increase in thunderstorms tomorrow evening, Monday, over the northwestern regions, including Bani Walid, Tarhuna, Misrata, Gharyan and surrounding areas, Yefren, the area from Qarabulli to Al-Khoms, and south of Zliten to south of Misrata.

A weather warning issued by the center on Sunday, indicated moderate to heavy rainfall in some of these areas, which could cause flooding and flash floods in some wadis.

The Meteorological Center urged people to exercise caution, especially while driving on roads and for those living near wadi channels.

What about the weather in Libya today?

As for the weather in Libya today, temperatures will remain average across most of the country, ranging during the day in northern regions between 23 and 32 degrees Celsius, and in southern regions between 30 and 37 degrees, with light fog expected in some coastal areas tonight and tomorrow morning.

Temperatures are expected to rise on Tuesday and Wednesday, particularly in the western interior and southern regions.

Thunderstorms will also develop today in scattered parts of the country (some areas of the Western Mountains, south of the Green Mountains, and regions stretching from Derna to Amsaad, as well as some areas of the southwest), accompanied by scattered rain.
