The Tripoli Security Directorate announced on Sunday, that two individuals had been apprehended on charges of setting a car on fire on Al-Sareem Street.

This came after the city police station received a phone call reporting a fire on Al-Sareem Street; security personnel at the station were able to extinguish the fire in cooperation with members of the security patrol and the criminal investigation unit, according to a statement issued by the Directorate.

Upon inspection, it was found that the car had been completely burned. Security personnel were able to identify and apprehend the suspects, take legal action against them, and refer them to the competent public prosecutor’s office.
