The East Tripoli Branch of the Department for Combating Illegal Immigration announced on Sunday the deportation of 175 illegal migrants of Pakistani nationality via Mitiga International Airport.

In a post on its Facebook page, the department stated that the deportation took place after administrative and legal procedures were completed, confirming that deportations are ongoing.

Deportation of Irregular Migrants via the Musaid Border Crossing

On Saturday, the department announced the deportation of a group of irregular migrants suffering from infectious diseases and holding Egyptian nationality via the Musaid land border crossing.

It clarified that the group that was deported included a number of individuals suffering from diseases, including hepatitis and HIV/AIDS, in addition to another group against whom deportation orders had been issued by the Attorney General's Office.
