Abdulhamid Dabaiba, head of the Government of National Unity, affirmed the government’s continued support for development and service projects in Gharyan, stressing the need to accelerate implementation in accordance with the established timelines, particularly the Gharyan Central Hospital project, as well as the construction of a package of strategic roads within the city and outside the urban plan.
This came during his meeting on Tuesday with a delegation of dignitaries, elders, and the municipal council, accompanied by the directors of service sectors in Gharyan, in the presence of a number of ministers and officials, according to a post by the “Our Government” platform on its Facebook page.
Service and Development Projects in the Municipality of Gharyan
The meeting was dedicated to discussing a number of service and development projects in the municipality of Gharyan, foremost among them infrastructure projects and the completion of the water network to cover various areas, in addition to discussing vital road projects and the “Schools of the Future” project within the city.
The “Our Government” platform stated that during the meeting, members of the Gharyan municipal delegation reaffirmed their support for the Government of National Unity and its efforts to implement development and service projects within the city, as well as to address citizens’ needs in a manner that improves service levels and enhances developmental stability.
Government’s Follow-Up on Municipal Needs
The platform noted that the meeting comes as part of the Government of National Unity’s efforts to address the needs of municipalities and drive development in various regions, thereby contributing to improved service delivery and enhanced developmental stability.
The meeting was attended by Minister of Transport and Financial Advisor to the Prime Minister Mohamed Al-Shahoubi, Minister of Tourism Nasr al-Din al-Fazani, Secretary-General of the Cabinet Office Adel Dhuwaheer, Head of the Executive Team for the President’s Initiatives and Strategic Projects Mustafa al-Mana, and directors of executive agencies and public companies.
