The management of Sebha International Airport announced the reopening of the airport on Sunday, following the completion of maintenance work on the main runway.
Sebha International Airport was temporarily closed on April 25, a the closure lasted for 15 days, with the aim of performing maintenance.
Preparations for the opening of the new terminal at Sebha Airport
The airport administration stated that this maintenance was carried out to improve operational efficiency and enhance safety standards at the airport, in preparation for the opening of the new terminal and to better accommodate flights.
The airport administration commended the efforts of the National Development Authority in rebuilding the airport, reflecting a spirit of construction and a genuine commitment to the development of the south and serving the public.
