On Saturday, Abdulhamid Dabaiba, Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, discussed with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan the issue of illegal migration and the importance of strengthening bilateral and regional cooperation to combat it, in a way that contributes to achieving practical results.
This took place during Erdogan’s meeting with Dabaiba on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, where the two sides also discussed developments in the region and a number of issues of mutual interest, according to a post by the “Our Government” platform on its Facebook page.
Supporting Efforts to Unify the Libyan Military
The two sides also discussed continued military cooperation between the two countries and support for efforts to unify the Libyan military, thereby enhancing stability and supporting state institutions across the country.
The two sides emphasized the importance of continuing consultation and coordination on political issues and of continuing joint efforts that serve the interests of both countries and contribute to supporting security and stability in the region.
