Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aguila Saleh, and the official delegation accompanying him participated in the opening of the 152nd Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, held in Istanbul under the theme “Fostering Hope, Ensuring Peace, and Safeguarding Justice for Future Generations.”

The House of Representatives delegation includes First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives and Chair of the Libyan Parliamentary Group at the Inter-Parliamentary Union, Fawzi al-Nuwairi, and members of the group: Sultan al-Mismari, Rabia Abu Ras, and Fatima al-Suwai’i, according to a statement released by House of Representatives Spokesperson Abdullah Bliheg.

It is worth noting that the 152nd Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union began on Wednesday and will continue until April 19, with the participation of 160 countries.

On March 30, Aguila Saleh received an official invitation to visit Turkey, delivered to him by the Turkish Ambassador to Libya, Güven Begeç, during his visit to Benghazi.
