The European Ban

It should be noted that the European ban imposed since 2014 has forced Libyans to rely on foreign airlines and complex arrangements involving “transit” flights, which has significantly impacted their travel for business, tourism, and family visits, The European Union’s blacklist includes seven Libyan airlines, among them “Libyan Airlines” and “Afriqiyah Airways,” which are prohibited from operating flights to and from EU countries.
