The General Directorate for Coastal Security announced on Saturday, that the body of an African national had been found near the seashore in the Tajoura area.

This came after the communications sub-room received a report from the Al-Fanar checkpoint, affiliated with the Tripoli branch of the Directorate, prompting coastal and maritime patrols to move to the site and recover the body, according to a statement issued by the Directorate.

The statement merely noted that the Tajoura Police Station and the Tripoli Red Crescent were present during the recovery operation, without providing further details.
