Saddam Haftar affirms the General Command's commitment to ensuring the smooth operation of oil companies

Lieutenant General Saddam Haftar, Deputy Commander of the General Command, emphasized its commitment to ensuring the stability of oil companies’ operations in Libya and commended the Oil Facilities Guard for carrying out its duties to secure and protect all sites across the various operational areas.

On Tuesday, Saddam Haftar met in his office at the General Command headquarters in the Rajma area of Benghazi with the commander of the Oil Facilities Guard, Major General Naji al-Maghrabi. The meeting included a review of the Guard’s operations in securing oil company sites and assessing the readiness of its units, according to the General Command’s media office.

The media office stated that the meeting also included “a discussion of security plans and measures taken to counter any potential threats in order to ensure the smooth continuation of operations and the highly efficient protection of oil companies.”

It added that Lieutenant General Saddam Haftar “emphasized the General Command’s commitment to providing the necessary support to the Oil Facilities Guard to achieve the highest levels of readiness and ensure the stability of oil companies’ operations under all circumstances.”
