The mayor of Sebha, Ahfaf Omar al-Aswad, affirmed his commitment to resolving the service-related problems and crises facing the Al-Qahira neighborhood within the municipality.

Al-Aswad met with a number of local leaders and listened to the challenges they face, as part of plans to monitor conditions in the neighborhoods, according to a statement issued by the Sebha Municipal Council on Saturday.

The statement noted that those attending the meeting emphasized the importance of finding urgent solutions to improve conditions and meet citizens’ needs.

Mayor of Sebha: Committed to Improving Services

The mayor said he is committed to continuously monitoring these issues and working to resolve them in coordination with the relevant authorities, thereby contributing to the improvement of services provided within the municipality.

The municipality has placed the sewage crisis on the list of crises that must be resolved quickly. The crisis was discussed during a meeting on March 25 at the municipal council headquarters, attended by the House of Representatives appointed Deputy Prime Minister Ahmed Houma.
