Menfi discusses security and military developments with military leaders from Zuwara

Presidential Council leader Mohamed Menfi discussed developments in the security and military situations with a number of military leaders in the city of Zuwara.

Menfi reviewed his ongoing efforts “to establish discipline and strengthen coordination among various security commands,” which contribute to supporting stability, enforcing security, and ensuring effective military performance in accordance with a unified national vision, according to a statement from the Presidential Council’s media office.

Menfi’s Meeting with Security Agency Leaders

On Tuesday, Al-Manfi chaired an expanded meeting with security agency leaders affiliated with the Presidential Council, in the presence of Acting Chief of General Staff Lieutenant General Salah Al-Namroush, during which he emphasized the importance of uniting ranks and strengthening discipline, thereby contributing to the protection of citizens and the preservation of state institutions.

The meeting included: General Intelligence Service Director Lieutenant General Hussein Al-Aib; Director of the Deterrence Agency for Combating Terrorism and Organized Crime Abdulraouf Kara; Presidential Guard Director Attia Al-Talib; and Stability Support Agency Director Hassan Abu Zriba.

Over the past two days, Menfi also held a series of separate meetings with military and security leaders, dedicated to discussing the latest developments in the security and military situations in various western regions and cities, assessing the level of readiness and discipline among the relevant agencies, and addressing the issue of unifying the military and security institutions under the leadership of the Presidential Council.
