Local sources reported on Monday that a young man died after drowning while diving in the city of Susa in the eastern part of the country.

A source told “Al-Wasat” that the young man, identified as Muhammad Suleiman Bel Izz al-Hasi (33), died after his oxygen supply was cut off while diving, causing him to drown at the scene of the accident.

The deceased was from the Al-Dabaiba neighborhood in Sousse, where residents were overcome with grief following the news of his death, particularly in the area near his home close to the Al-Othaymeen Mosque.
