The Tripoli branch of the Red Crescent Society announced the discovery of a decomposed body, believed to be that of a woman, inside an abandoned building in the Wadi al-Rabie area.

The branch’s body management team recovered the body in cooperation with the Qasr Bin Ghashir Police Station, after completing the legal procedures and obtaining permission from the deputy prosecutor, according to a statement posted by the branch on its Facebook page today, Thursday.

The branch handed the body over to the Ambulance and Emergency Services to complete the transfer procedures, after ensuring that the operation was carried out in accordance with humanitarian and professional standards.
