A fire broke out inside the power station at Tripoli International Airport on Tuesday morning without causing any injuries.

The National Safety Authority stated that its communications center received a report of the fire at 10:30 a.m. today, and teams rushed to the site to contain the flames and prevent them from spreading to neighboring facilities.

The Authority’s statement added that the relevant teams—from the Support and Assistance Division, the Qasr Bin Ghashir Fire Department, and the Al-Sawani Fire Unit—managed the operation with a high degree of professionalism.
