Jeremy Brendt, the U.S. Chargé d’Affaires to Libya, said that "the United States committed to supporting the Libyan people’s aspirations for a peaceful and prosperous future."
This came in his congratulatory message on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the February 17, 2011 revolution, according to a post on the US Embassy's Facebook page on Tuesday.
Brendt added: “We will continue to work closely with Libyan and international partners to support Libyan-led efforts to overcome divisions, unify national institutions, and advance stability.”
