The head of Libya's Government of National Unity (GNU), Abdulhamid Dabaiba, discussed with the head of the Turkish National Intelligence Organization, Ibrahim Kalin, the latest developments in the local and regional situations, as well as a number of issues of mutual interest.

This came during a meeting in the capital, Tripoli, on Thursday, which addressed the importance of strengthening coordinated international efforts to support the political process in Libya, thereby contributing to consolidating national consensus and pushing the political process toward sustainable solutions that promote stability and preserve the country's unity, according to a statement on the “Our Government” Facebook page.

The two sides also affirmed the continuation of consultation and coordination in the interests of serving common interests and supporting stability in the region.
