A flock of birds struck a Berniq Airways plane as it was taking off from Mitiga International Airport in Tripoli, bound for Cairo on Friday, resulting in an emergency landing and the flight's cancellation.

Officials on the plane, led by Captain Marwan Al-Sheikhi and Captain Tamim Menneh, evacuated 155 passengers without any injuries, despite the plane sustaining significant damage, according to experts and pages concerned with Libyan civil aviation.
