Imad Trabelsi, the head of the Ministry of the Interior in the Government of National Unity, briefed Prime Minister Abdulhamid Dabaiba on the ministry's plans to secure fuel and enhance security and stability in Tripoli, as well as its urgent requirements.
On Wednesday, Dabaiba met with Trabelsi at the Prime Minister's Office in Tripoli, in the presence of the acting finance minister and the prime minister's financial advisor, Mohamed Al-Shahoubi.
According to the "Our Government" platform's Facebook page, the meeting focused on "following up on the Interior Ministry's programs to secure fuel and enhance security stability, as well as reviewing existing projects with executive agencies and the ministry's urgent requirements."
The ministry explained that the meeting reviewed the plan to secure fuel stations and prevent smuggling. They also discussed security deployments within Tripoli and supported police units to raise their readiness.
Additionally, they addressed the latest developments in the migration file and the efforts made to control illegal migrants and deport them in accordance with legal procedures.
The "Our Government" platform added that Dabaiba affirmed the government's support for the Ministry of the Interior and its efforts to impose security and promote stability in various regions of the country.
