The Red Crescent Society in Tripoli announced the recovery of a body on a beach in Tajoura.

In a statement released early Sunday morning, the society said that the body "is likely to belong to an unidentified young male and noted that it was recovered in difficult terrain by the society's body management team.

After obtaining permission from the deputy public prosecutor, the team began recovering the body, following approved procedures. Then, they handed it over to the ambulance and emergency services to complete the necessary transport and referral procedures.

On Saturday, Red Crescent personnel in Tripoli also found a body believed to be that of a foreign woman in the Wadi al-Rabee area.
