On Thursday, the Tripoli Security Directorate announced the completion of maintenance work on Al-Shat Road in front of the That Al-Emad complex and the reopening of the road to traffic.

The directorate posted a video on its Facebook page showing traffic flowing smoothly on the road after it reopened.

Last Saturday, the Tripoli Security Directorate announced the temporary closure of Al-Shat Road in front of the complex to repair a sink hole.

The Traffic Affairs Office confirmed that maintenance work was being carried out to repairs on the damaged section. The office's assistant head, Major General Nouri al-Mugri, said the closure was necessary to ensure public safety.
