The Chief of the General Staff for Libya's Government of National Unity forces, General Mohammed Al-Haddad, participated in the activities of the 2024 World Defense Show, in the Saudi capital Riyadh, according to a statement by his media office.
Al-Haddad praised the level of arrangement, distinguished organization, and efforts made to hold the defense exhibition, in which more than 750 companies specialized in the defense and security sector participated.
The ceremony was attended by Saudi Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman, Chief of the General Staff of the Saudi Armed Forces Lieutenant General Fayyad Al-Ruwaili, Secretary General of the Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition Major General Mohammed Al-Mughidi, and defense ministers from 45 countries.
Al-Haddad and his accompanying delegation toured the second edition of the exhibition, which was organized by the Saudi General Authority for Military Industries, viewing modern military technologies, weapons, and equipment.
The statement added that they also attended an air show with the participation of several countries.
