General Command: Haftar receives group of fishermen that had been detained in Niger

The Commander of the Libyan Arab Armed Forces, Marshal Khalifa Haftar, received in Benghazi, a group of Libyan fishermen that had been detained in Niger.

Haftar said, according to a statement by the Military Information Division of the General Command, that he will "not blink an eyelid" until he is "assured of the security and safety of all citizens at home and abroad", noting that "the protection of the Libyan citizen is one of the priorities of the General Command".

On Wednesday, the Military Information Division announced the return of three Libyan fishermen who had been detained in Niger on a private plane belonging to the General Command.

The division added the return of the fishermen came after the direct intervention of Ground Forces Commander, Major General Saddam Khalifa Haftar, in coordination with the authorities in the Republic of Niger.
