The head of Libya's Presidential Council, Mohamed Menfi, announced that Libya has officially joined South Africa's case before the International Court of Justice regarding Israel's genocide in the Gaza Strip.

In his speech at the Non-Aligned Movement's summit in Uganda, Menfi added that Libya will also join a second suit against the violations and practices of the Zionist occupation in the Palestinian territories, which is scheduled to be held in February.
