DCIM says rescued 10 Sudanese migrants abandoned in the desert

The Department for Combating Illegal Migration (DCIM) in eastern Libya announced the rescue of ten irregular migrants abandoned in a desert area.

A patrol from the department's Tobruk branch found the migrants near Wadi Ali and provided them with water, food and first aid, according to a statement on Wednesday.

The statement pointed out that the patrol transferred the individuals to a shelter in Tobruk for deportation procedures.
