Daibaba discussed his vision for a political solution in Libya with group of ambassadors representing Arab, African and Islamic countries

The Prime Minister for Libya's Government of National Unity, Abdulhamid Dabaiba, reviewed his vision for a political solution in Libya, during his meeting with 27 ambassadors to Libya representing Arab, African and Islamic countries.

During his speech at the meeting, Dabaiba welcomed the return of embassies to work from Tripoli, which he said contributes to integration, cooperation and direct communications with various Libyan institutions.

A statement released by the GNU added that Dabaiba clarified the "vision for a political solution, which supports the efforts of UN envoy Abdoulaye Bathily by holding fair elections in accordance with fair and impartial laws".

Dabaiba also affirmed his support for regional efforts to calm the situation in Sudan and Libya's position towards the war in Gaza and support for the Palestinian cause.

The meeting discussed a number of issues related to granting visas, resuming flights to Arab and Islamic countries, and the need for embassies to contribute to overcoming any difficulties facing these service files.

The meeting was attended by the ambassadors of Bahrain, Algeria, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Yemen, Palestine, Sudan, Somalia, Tunisia, Congo, Turkey, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Ghana, Niger, Nigeria, Eritrea, Mali, Burkina Faso, Guinea, Chad, Bangladesh, Benin, Comoros and Pakistan.
