The General Electricity Company of Libya (GECOL) said on Saturday that it is continuing to work on the construction of a 30 kV tower line to increase Tawergha's electricity supplies.

In a statement, the company confirmed the inclusion of two entry and exit circuits in conjunction with the continued maintenance of concrete bases on the Zamzam Tawergha line with a power of 30 kV as well, which feeds the entire Tawergha area.

This comes after the company announced on Friday, the arrival of equipment for the Khoms power plant supplied by the American company General Electric. It also noted that equipment was sent from its warehouses in Tripoli to the Derna Distribution Department.
