A delegation from Libya's House of Representatives met with representatives of the Russian Foreign Ministry and the ambassadors of Egypt and Qatar in Moscow, spokesman Abdullah Bliheg announced on Monday.

The delegation is headed by Nasser bin Nafi, a member of the Energy Committee, and includes Chairman of the Follow-up Committee of Regulatory Bodies Zayed Hadiya, Chairman of the Energy Committee Issa Al-Oraibi, and Foreign Affairs Committee member Mabrouk Al-Khattabi.

Bliheg said that the delegation discussed the latest developments in Libya, a number of files of common interest and bilateral relations with the Russian officials.

He added that the delegation also held meetings with the ambassador of the State of Qatar to Moscow, Ahmed bin Nasser Al-Thani, and Egyptian Ambassdor Nazih Al-Jari.

The visit comes a week after a High Council of State visited Moscow.

During the visit, Tekala agreed with State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin to set up a contact group to "coordinate the work of parliamentarians".
