The Commander of the Libyan Arab Armed Force, Marshal Khalifa Haftar, received a delegation of the sheikhs from Egypt's Al-Azhar Al-Sharif at General Command headquarters in the Al-Rajma area of Benghazi on Sunday.

Haftar welcomed the meeting, considering it “a blessed meeting that brought him together with the bearers of the Qur’an and the sheikhs of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif,” according to the General Command Information Office.

The delegation offered its condolences to eastern Libya flood victims and thanked Haftar for the General Command's support Qu'ran memorizers with the hope that local, regional and Arab religious competitions will return to Libya.
