The President of Libya's High Council of State, Muhammad Takala, discussed developments in the Libyan political situation and ways to strengthen bilateral relations with Russia, during his meeting with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov.

Takala met with the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister in Moscow on Thursday, in the presence of First Deputy Chairman of the High Council of State Massoud Obaid, and members of the Council: Ibrahim Abu Shaala, Mahmoud Al-Tabib, Ahmed Hamuma, Fatima Talioh and Huda Al-Banani.

The council's media office said that the two sides discussed, the political situation in Libya, ways to resolve the current crisis, breaking the political stalemate through elections, in addition to developments in the Middle East, especially Palestine.
