The French Ambassador to Libya, Mostafa Mihraje, said on Wednesday that he discussed "the preparatory processes to create an appropriate atmosphere for the presidential and legislative elections" during a meeting with the High National Electoral Commission Chairman Imad Al-Sayeh.

According to the French ambassador's post on the X: "changes were discussed regarding preparations for the elections."

On Tuesday, the French ambassador discussed with the Second Deputy of the High Council of State, Omar Al-Obaidi, and the Chairman of the Political Affairs Committee of the Council, Abdulaziz Hariba, how to activate the initiative by UN envoy Abdoulaye Bathily, calling for a meeting of Libyan stakeholders.
