Libyan House of Representatives Speaker Aguila Saleh met with UN envoy to Libya Abdoulaye Bathily on Sunday, and discussed forming a unified government, and the holding of presidential and parliamentary elections.

House of Representatives spokesman Abdullah Bliheg said that the meeting was held at Saleh's office in the city of Al-Qubba, and also dealt with the latest developments in the political situation in Libya.

According to Bliheg, Saleh and Bathily agreed to take the necessary measures to implement the electoral entitlement in the near future.
