The Libyan Minister of Culture and a parliamentary delegation will visit Russia in November, Russian Ambassador to Libya Aydar Aganin said in an interview with the Rossiya-24 TV channel.
"The Minister of Culture of the Government of National Unity will arrive in St. Petersburg tomorrow for an international cultural forum. We expect a parliamentary delegation by the end of the month," the diplomat pointed out.
According to Aganin, the Russian-Libyan dialogue has been "building up and reaching a good level" in recent months. "Since Libya has emerged from the civil confrontation, there remains a split. However, everything is now brewing on the political plane, and this does not prevent the development of bilateral ties".
On Monday, Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolay Patrushev held talks with Libyan National Security Advisor Ibrahim Bushnaf in Moscow.
