The Turkish government has decided to exempt Libyans younger than 16 and older than 45 from pre-entry visas starting Wednesday, November 15.
The Turkish decision comes two weeks after a decision by Government of National Unity Prime Minister Abdulhamid Dabaiba, to exempt Turkish citizens under the age of 18 and over the age of 55 from the requirement to obtain a visa prior to entering Libya.
Dabaiba explained in his decision No. 482 of 2023, that this measure comes within the framework of applying the "principle of reciprocity."
