The Misrata Municipal Council on Tuesday launched a donation campaign in cooperation with the Red Crescent Society branch in the city for the benefit of the Palestinian people.

The council said it adopted the campaign in light of "attacks and massacres inside Palestine at the hands of the gangs of the Zionist entity," according to a statement.

The Council allocated two accounts to receive donations: "an account at the main National Commercial Bank, Misrata branch No. 056012014975019, and an account at the Jumhouria Bank, Ahmed Al-Sharif branch No. 062102946."

The statement pointed out that the donation can also be made through the campaign's headquarters in the exhibition grounds in the city's center and the headquarters of the Red Crescent in Misrata located on Tripoli Street.
