A delegation from the High Council of State, headed by Second Deputy Chairman of the Council Omar Al-Obaidi, paid a visit on Thursday to the headquarters of the Embassy of Palestine in Tripoli, where they were received by Ambassador Mohammed Rahhal.

The media office of the High Council of State said that this visit comes "within the framework of supporting the Palestinian people against the war of genocide and ethnic cleansing on the Gaza Strip by the Zionist occupation forces."

During his meeting, Al-Obaidi reiterated Libya's support for the Palestinian people in all ways and means in order to restore their rights to establish their independent state.

Since October 7, 10,812 Palestinian have been killed by Israel occupation forces during its attacks on Gaza.
