The Minister of the Interior for Libya's parliament-appointed government, Issam Abu Zariba, participated on Saturday in a graduation ceremony of the first batch of Coast Guard members in Sirte.

The ceremony was held in the commercial sea port of Sirte and was attended by the Mayor of Sirte Municipality, Mukhtar Al-Madani.

The batch includes 100 trainees from Sirte and its suburbs and the training lasted three months.

The head of the Sirte Social Council, Muftah Marzouk, directors of the Ministry of Interior, the director of the Sirte Police Training Institute, and the director of Coastal Security also participated in the celebration.
