Government of National Unity Prime Minister Abdulhamid Dabaiba announced cabinet approval to grant pensions to members of the Palestinian community in Libya.

Dabaiba said on his Facebook page on Thursday that "the cabinet agreed today to grant the members of the Palestinian community in Libya with special needs, as well as widows and divorced women a basic pension; in appreciation of the Palestinian people and their treatment as if they were Libyan citizens."
