Government of National Unity Prime Minister Abdulhamid Dabaiba condemned on Wednesday the "war crimes and genocide" in the besieged Gaza Strip, calling for a "firm" Arab position to stop the ongoing Israeli aggression since October 7.

Dabaiba said: "The targeting of unarmed civilians, the bombing of hospitals, ambulances, mosques and schools, and the suffocating and inhumane siege of the Gaza Strip is genocide, war crimes and a stain written by history on the forehead of the occupation and its supporters," according to a video clip released by his government.

He considered that the massacre of the Al-Ahli ABaptist Hospital in Gaza "uncovers the ugly face of the Israeli occupation and the hateful killing machine that boasts of force and unlimited arrogant support."

Dabaiba said that "the Libyan people and government will spare no effort in providing humanitarian and relief assistance quickly, ensuring its transit and saving Gaza."

In the same context, he pointed to the expression of solidarity with the Palestinians through the continuous demonstrations.

He also addressed the leaders of the Arab countries, saying: "The central cause of Palestine is uniting for all our peoples, who hope that we will have a firm position that forces the aggressor and his supporters to stop the aggression."
