A number of citizens from different parts of Libya told Alwasat on Friday that they have not been able to connect to the city of Benghazi for hours, whether through phone and internet services.

This coincided with the arrival of former Government of National Accord Defense Minister Mahdi al-Barghathi to the city after years of absence.

No statement has yet been issued by the Telecommunications Holding Company or telecommunications companies, as well as the competent authorities regarding this outage.
