Libya's High Council of State announced on Wednesday that it voted to dissolve it's representative team in the 6+6 elections commission, adding that the body only recognizes outputs reached at the Bouznika meeting on June 3.

A press statement published by the council's media office said: "Today, Wednesday, October 4, 2023, the High Council of State decided, in its suspended session (91), to adhere to the outputs of the 6+6 commission signed unanimously by its members in Bouznika, Kingdom of Morocco, on June 3, 2023. It was also decided in the same session to dissolve his team representing the council in the 6+6 commission after it completed its mission."

The statement comes hours after the Speaker of the House of Representatives signed the election laws and ordered them transfered to the High National Elections Commission.
