The Speaker of Libya's House of Representatives, Aguila Saleh, signed the elections laws two days after they were approved by parliament and ordered their transfer to the High National Elections Commission.
Earlier on Wednesday, House of Representatives spokesman Abdullah Bliheg announced that the Saleh had sent a letter to the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, in which he called for mobilizing international support for the formation of a unified government tasked with holding presidential and parliamentary elections.
