The General Electricity Company of Libya (GECOL) continues to repair the electrical network damaged by Storm Daniel, which hit the eastern region of the country on September 10.

On Monday, GECOL announced the installation of four new poles, replacing damaged ones on the Dabousiya line and the completion of tightening work on about 1,300 meters of powerlines.

The company said in a statement on its Facebook page that distribution boxes were either maintained or replaced in the city of Susa in the Green Mountain.

This comes after the company's warehouses in Al-Bayda received more than 250 vehicles loaded with electrical equipment, spare parts and transformers in a convoy from Tripoli that was accompanied by more than 400 technicians and specialists.
