The General Electricity Company of Libya (GECOL) announced the return of power to the Mukhaili area, southwest of Derna, after an 11-day outage.

GECOL said power was restored to the area after continuous work by the company's teams to maintain and install electricity cables, and install new poles for electricity wires.

Maintenance teams from Libya's western region are carrying out extensive repair work in the disaster-stricken areas of Derna, Al-Bayda, Susa and the rest of the Green Mountain.
