The head of Libya's interim Government of National Unity, Abdulhamid Dabaiba, arrived on Saturday evening in the Qatari capital of Doha, leading a high-level delegation.

The Prime Minister’s Media Office said in a statement that the Minister of Sports And the Qatari youth, Salah bin Ghanem Al-Ali, received Dabaiba and the Libyan delegation, without revealing further details about the duration of the visit and its agenda.

Photos published by the office showed Dabaiba accompanied by Interior Minister Imad Trabelsi and Sports Minister Abdel Shafie Al-Juwaifi.

Dabaiba is scheduled to meet with the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, on Sunday.
