High Council of State President Muhammad Takala visited Turkey and met with Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan in his first trip abroad since his election.

Members of the High Council of State elected Takala over its leader of five years, Khalid Al-Mishri, on August 6.

The Turkish Foreign Ministry published photos of the meeting without giving details.

The media office of the High Council of State has yet to announce the visit.
