The National Safety Authority disposed of war remnants collected from several areas in Bani Walid, by detonating them in a valley south of the city on Tuesday.
The media office of the National Safety Authority in Bani Walid tells Alwasat that the remnants were estimated at about 2 tons of unexploded materials, ranging from mortar shells, landmines, tank shells and other smaller items.
According to the media office, this quantity was disposed of through detonation in the Wadi Maimoun area.
