Libya's Government of National Unity announced on Monday the opening of five new schools within the last week as part of the "Return to Life" plan, launched by the government two years ago.
It added that the schools are located in Al-Bayda, Zliten, Jadu, Kabaw and Tokra.
The "Return to Life" plan for the education sector includes the completion of more than 450 new schools.
The Administrative Centers Development Authority confirmed earlier that 145 schools will be resettled before the beginning of the next academic year and 49 schools will be opened during the month of December.
